Why choose home delivery

Our home delivery service provides our customers with the opportunity to still buy a new car and have it delivered safely to their home. We have been monitoring the Government’s guidelines regarding the delivery of vehicles during this period of social distancing, and have adapted our service accordingly to ensure the safety of both the delivery drivers and our customers.

How Home Delivery Works

Home delivery is currently available 5 days a week, with appointment slots between 10am and 5pm. Once you’ve found the car you want to buy and completed your order with one of our Sales team members, one of our team will then be in contact to confirm a delivery date and explain the process in detail.

Your car will then be delivered by a member of our transport company who will hand over the keys so you can enjoy your new car.

What do I need to provide when I arrange home delivery? What do I need to provide when I arrange home delivery?

You'll need to upload your driving licence to our online portal as proof of your ID and address. The address on your licence must match the address you gave when you placed your order. You will also need your ID when your car is delivered.

When do I need to have my insurance in place? When do I need to have my insurance in place?

Make sure you arrange your own insurance in time for your delivery so you can start driving straight away.

All our cars are prepped to the Victoria Motor Company standard so any chips, scratches and dents are treated by our team of experts before the car goes on sale.

Click and collect is available at our branch.

Can I buy a car for someone else? Can I buy a car for someone else?

Unfortunately not, as the delivery address needs to match the billing address of the person buying the car. However, once you own the car, you are free to transfer the V5 to anyone you want.

 

Contactless collection

Our vehicle handover process has been adapted to adhere to social distancing guidelines and eliminate contact between customers and staff. Please follow the steps below when collecting your car:

  1. Arrive on time for your allocated collections slot. You can select a date and time to suit you, and full details of what to expect and do when arriving on site will be sent to you before your appointment.
  2. Give us a call when you arrive at our site and one of our team members will be there to greet you.
  3. You can then view your car and even take it for a solo test-drive if you'd like to.
  4. Once you are ready to drive the car away we can then complete the handover process.

Collection slots will be available from 09:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. 10:30 to 16:30 on weekends. We are operating a strict appointment-based system for collections, so please only arrive on site at your allotted time. Whilst onsite, please respect the social distancing guidelines and maintain a distance of 2 metres from our staff at all times. They of course will do the same for you. If you are displaying COVID-19 symptoms, please do not visit the site and instead contact us to rearrange your collections slot.

Home Delivery

We have made a number of changes to our existing Home Delivery service to ensure we are fully compliant with the latest Public Health Wales guidance relating to the delivery of cars. These include:

  1. The car being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before delivery
  2. Our drivers wearing protective equipment at all times during the delivery process
  3. The car once again being disinfected by the driver prior to being handed over.

Car preparation

Our Victoria Motor Company Quality Standard has been further enhanced to ensure maximum safety in the handover of the vehicle:

  • Our car preparation teams wear protective equipment at all times whilst preparing the car
  • Our valet process includes an antibacterial wipe of all touchable surfaces
  • All sold cars under-go an additional pre-delivery inspection check

Having your vehicle delivered changes the terms and conditions

To ensure you fully understand how this effects your purchase please carefully read the points below:

  1. Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you may cancel a distance contract to purchase a vehicle from us within 14 working days after the day you received the relevant vehicle (subject to the limitations set out below).
  2. In order to cancel a contract in this way, you must provide us written notice of cancellation via post or email and to reach us by 6pm on the 14th day following delivery.
  3. If you cancel a contract on this basis, you must promptly return the vehicle to us, in the same condition in which you received it. We must receive the vehicle back within 14 days of your written notice of cancellation. If you do change your mind you cannot use the car once you have notified us, only for delivery back to us. You must still tax and insure the vehicle until it is received by us.
  4. If you cancel a contract on this basis, you will be refunded in full However, you will be responsible for paying the cost of returning the vehicle to us.
  5. If you cancel a contract on this basis and you do not return the vehicle to us, we may recover the vehicle and charge you for the costs we incur in doing so. Similarly, if you return the vehicle at our expense, we may pass that expense on to you.
  6. For reasons of fraud prevention, we are only able to deliver to your home address and, prior to arranging delivery, Will require your driver’s licence and proof of address to be verified, we will not deliver the car to you if we have not received this.
  7. Upon receipt of your vehicle it is imperative that you fully inspect its physical condition. Once you have signed to accept the vehicle we will, unfortunately, not accept liability for any damage which was not noted during your vehicle’s delivery.
  8. Your refund will be made within 14 days of the vehicle being returned to us. This 14 day period will begin from the day we sign to accept return of the car to our premises.
  9. Delivery of your vehicle will take place at an agreed time and place. Should you, for any reason, be unable to accept this delivery then you will be liable for the cost of this delivery and any subsequent charges to return it. In the event of cancelation this amount would be deducted from your final refund amount.
  10. You are liable for the vehicle from the point of accepting delivery. If you choose to cancel within your cooling off period, then you remain liable for the vehicle until one of our selected collection companies have signed to accept it from you. You will be liable, and charged, for any damage present which was not noted when you accepted delivery of the vehicle. Any cost will be deducted from your final refund amount.
  11. The vehicle cannot be modified or altered in any way from the condition it was delivered in.
  12. To receive a full refund a maximum additional mileage of 50 miles from the recorded delivery mileage is allowed. If you cover any additional distance, then an excess mileage charge of £1.50 + VAT per mile will be deducted from your final refund amount.
  13. Any delivery cost charged to you as part of your order will be fully refunded. However, you will be liable for any collection costs incurred and this amount will be deducted from your final refund. We will fully inform you of any costs before arranging collection and will not make any arrangements without your prior consent.
  14. You are able to make your own arrangements for return of the vehicle but, in doing so, accept full liability for the vehicle until it is returned to us. Any damage caused to the vehicle will be deducted from your final refund amount and, in the case of any insurance claim being raised, no refund will be made until payout from the relevant insurance company has been made to us.
  15. No refund amount will be made until the vehicle has been inspected and signed for by a member of our team. If we intend to make any deductions from your final refund amount, then you will be made aware of that amount prior to the refund.

Our website should provide adequate pictures and descriptions of all vehicles currently in stock, however, if you have any questions or queries regarding a vehicle we have a range of communication channels available to you without having to visit the site i.e. email, text, live chat, Facebook or telephone and can even prepare a personal video of the vehicle if requested.

We will not be able to accept any cash payments until further notice however any balances due can be quickly and easily transferred electronically.

The first payment of a finance agreement can also be delayed for 2 months for your convenience.
